Yeah Sunny day!

Huge Hello Everyone!

Well like i said yesterday if it's sunny i'll take some photos!

so what do you know it was sunny day today!

even though it's getting a little nippy outside...lol great reason to

bring out the woolies! :)

and comfort food :)...mmmmm almost time for soup! :)

well today at TAFE i was a little shocked to hear it's our last 

week of term 1! OMG! where does the time fly!

so looks like next week i'll be full on Scrappen! Double YEAH!..hehehe

well with scrappen in mind i'll tell you about the other layouts i got done on Sunday

and the juciy challnge you all should havc a whirl at!

First   layout i wanted to try was the Scrap the boys challenge

theme was to be inspired by your boys or mans outfit!

well i thought of this photo of my boy lockie instantly, cause i've been waiting for the right momnet to scrap it!

thanks to Scrap the boys here it is!

I was inspired by the colours in Lockies top, yellow, purple, blue, green and white

then the title sort of hit me!

With Buzz lightyear on there who wouldn't think of it! :)

I just love this photo!
Also couldn't help using one of those yummy bottle tops i've been making! be selling a load of these on 1st May!

Next off the bat was a My Minds Eye challange!

i so love My Minds Eye! and it's been a while since i've been able to squeeze in one of

there challenges!

so armed with their April Sketch and the theme April Showers.

i dived straight into this layout!

i think it was the theme that really got me going as we have only had our first shower

here in Busselton in April! How perfect! cause i only just took photos of the boys outside in

their raincoats!!

Sweet!

was a little hard finding a paper that suited their raincoats but i settled on 

Little Robots collection from My Minds Eye!!

  

LOL! these boys weren't sure about this rain at first...lol but god they are cuties!...lol

you can see i have used all My Minds Eye Patter papers,even to make the cute unbrella and April

Well i was even surpired i fitted in one last layout, but i did!

with A2Z Scraplets given me the  last push of inspirations with this lovely April sketch

just before i had to cut back our lavenders in our front garden....

a bit sad they are all gone, bake to a short stumpy thing, not like i have to fight me way through lavender to get to our front door anymore...Sniff sniff

still i love that i was able to scrap this delish photo and this A2Z Scraplet chippie was totally perfect!

Well i think i better get  a wriggle on to get dinner started and to think up some more creative recipes!.

oh first homework!...lol

thats what i'm really surpose to be doing on the computer...hehehe

this can be our little secret...lol 

arh well! can't wait to have a good blog hop tomorrow morning!

What a Scrap!

Huge Hello Everyone!

OMG! what a fantastic scrap session i had on Sunday!

Have you ever just had one of those weeks when there really

has been no tme to get creative and then

the right momnet happens and it's like a huge explosion!

well that was me on Sunday with a large pot of coffee!

lol!

seriously i squeezed out 5 layouts!

yeah i know!

i am as surprises as you!..lol

i think it's been building up with all the sketch and challenge collecting i've been doing...

well about 15 mins worth..lol

really love that i have created a folder of all my fave challenge sites

really makes it easy to find the inspiration

also the timing has just got to be there or your just fighting

with yourself over gettting to your scrap space...and thats just no fun!

Mind you i did pay for it today, with the rent inspection on Wednesday

Justin and I just Cleaned and cleaned and cleaned!

all i can smell is my sweat and cleaning products....mmm sexy!....lol!

One long shower later and i'm feeling better and cleaner...lol

i realized something too...

i hate cleaning window sill tacks!

oh they are so gross! dead bugs are just not my thing!...lol

sorry a little graphic..lol

any way

today was a little rainy and very refreshing but not the best lighting 

to take a clean pic of my layouts

but i did kind of get two two ok one...

so First one is from the Handmade By Suzanne

sketch Challenge for April

  How joy is this one!

you just have to give this a go!

So i scrapped a lovely photo i took of Bubba Frankie and her lovely Mum Sara 

(Justin Sister) who both came to stay for four days with us last week!

so weird haven a Baby in the house again

Funny even i was waking at a drop at a hat when Frankie cried through the night for feeds

Well once a Mum always a mum :)

I really loved sharing a silent coffee in the early mornings with Sara

that quiet understanding...lol oh darlin, i know how you feel.

I used so lovely October Afternoon papers , with some of my handmade flowers that 'll be selling

and a cute as Apple button from Chip Chop Shop made by Leeanne

So sweet aren't they :)

Now the next challenge i played with was a sketch challenge at Scrap therapy

so many challenge to choose from in the forum i had a hard time figuring out

where to start!

but you know me i'm a sucker for a sketch!...lol

 so thanks to Deb at ST i got all messy with paint over her sketch!...lol

I'm finding these canvas flowers creeping on too a few of my layouts...lol they are just so easy to use! as well as these joy Bottle tops! both i'll be selling on the 1st May.

thanks to Rachel for the green stamped flower too! lovem! MWAH!

oh that reminds my i was very lucky to get my Button/badge press today!

Hey Hey its Scrappen Sunday!

Huge Hello Everyone!

Well what a fun filled week we have had this week!

Besides me catching a cold and feeling rotten for most of the week

(thank god i can breath again!)

Tafe was amazing this Firday as we started our First Aid course and i now know how to

do preform CPR, i'm feeling awesome about leasrning all this as 

i really want to help instead of just panicing, god forbid anything happens

but if it does lets hope i get in and help!

I am so greatful for my class at TAFE all the ladies that go are fantastic and our lecture

Sarah Lotzs is AMAZING! i'm always happy to

see what she has to say and have a good time learn with her,

Very excited for one of our project/assesments is to create a vision board/mindmap

sort of...but the theme is Yourself now, future and your goals..

so super excited to use my skills in a creative way :)

so i will keep you all posted on that massive creation, with process details.

I have also got to say i have had a few awesome days of being creative with my partner,

most times when he goes off to paint or draw we stay in differnt areas,

but this week i was scrappen right next to him, well give or take a couple of feet..lol

while Justin was finishing of his HUGE painting for The Vasse Art Award held on the 23rd April

it's called "Sea Within" it's really amazing...i should have taking a photo but i think i'll wait till he is finished to show you all, anyway

it was really nice just enjoying each others company while doing something we both love.

So what layout did i get done while i was scrappen???

i had a crack at a Scrap Jacked layout :)

i Scrap lifted Vicki's layout, using it as a sketch..so many layers and i love that she created her own

background with a little mist.

so with this in mind i broke out the paints cause they were all there

with Justin..hehe

As you can see i really had some fun :)

These handmade canvas and denim flowers i will be sell on the 1st of May

with a bunch of other goodies i've been making.

I also used the scraps from my DT pack from  Scrap Therapy

whom has just posted up one of my first creations with this

As they have launched a new forum so you should checkout the new set up!

so joy! and they are holding comps this month with $25 each comp! how joy!

they have also brought back Man of the Month

this is where they pick a designer to play with and create some awesome artworks with!

       Oh what a thrill to see my name and work in a Guest Design spot!

EEEEE! so exciting!

so now i've got to show you some of the goodies i have made this past two weeks,

funny to find out that i really need to time manage if i'm going to get any scrappen done with 

handmaking these goodies, TAFE and rent inspection on Wednesday!

lol! i think it's only hard when it something you don't like doing like cleaning and homework..lol

still i so love making these fimo creations and have loads more ideas! as well as these flowers!

OMG! i so love making flower! with two boys i never really got into flower

but to make them! so much Fun!

    

Oh i am so excited to start on some raindow silk flowers! but more a vintage rainbow..

some thing to go with those bottle tops caps,

Oh so excited waiting on a button, badge maker too!

oh the fun i am going to have!

1st MAY 2011 as well as my new Monthly Blog Sketch challenge

lol well i think thats about it...ummm oh yesterday was a FULL on clean out scrap stash!

OMG! the things i found!

i was thinking of making up a couple scrap kits from my over flowing stash

huummm where to put all this stuff!...lol

sort of shot myself in the foot when my partner saw how much stuff was really hidding in my 

scrappen space, he is now sure i don't need to buy any more till my 30th birthday!

Man that like 3years away!....

oh well :) 

still can sneak out on the weekends with my Mum...lol

Well thank you all so much for haven a looksy and seeing and listen to what i have been up to

i am really excited to get to wednesday, cause thats the day i can finally hop

on to a computer that doesn't get the hiccups when i blog hop,

so i'll be all ready with a notepad to soak up all the inspiration your

So Much going on!

Huge Hello Everyone!

Well what an awesome week!

tot start we had Justins Sister and Bubba staying with us for four days and What

a fantastic time we had!

i swear bubba Frankie is just the sweetest little bub!

Ash and Lockie totally loved having thier Cousin and Aunty Sara here!

hard trying to stop stop them following her around all the time....lol

Now with that being most of my time spent with family i had really no time to scrap,

But i was totally stoked to see and hear that Scrap Therapy has a new Forum!

Now you all know how much i heart Scrap Therapy!

so you all got to gop and have alooksy at the New Forum and see the

challenge that are up and the juciy prizes too!

also very very proud to finally announce i am the 

Guest Deisgner at Scrap Threapy this month :)

WooHoo! totally stoked and can't wait to show you all what i have

Weekend is almost here!

Huge Hello Everyone!

i thought i would be sneaky and pop up a 

blog post before school starts today...hehe

i really wanted to share with you all a few different creative things

i've been doing through the week

First i was stoked with how my bottle caps came out for this

months swap at Amandas Swap blog

this months theme was

St Patricks Day

are the Luck of the Irish....well thats what they say

So i'm thinking i really loved creating these vintage bottle caps i'll make more to pop in

 with my fimo creations...slowly buliding up my goodies for

my homemade embellishment kits...

still dreaming :)

Oh you got to love breaking out the brights!

Now for a little shock i actually sat down and did

some drawing with my partner

well he was paintin and john butler was playing

and i had the itch to pull out the charcoal and pastels

and seriously...OMG! i forgot how much i loved drwing with music!

if you haven't realized before children i was a starving Artist...lol

so a few years in Art school and a life long thrist for creativity...lol

i'm sure you all understand...

but here is my first charcoal and pastel drawin i have done in 

years and years!

so all i got to say is, GO have a doodle! pens, pencils anything that makes a 

mark! and enjoy just being creative!

well time is running out and i'm being pulled away...aawwwww

not fair!...lol

well first up today...Effective Communication....

Yeay!

I'm so excited about tomorrow!

i get to finally have a huge Blog hop session, then i can see what you have all been

creating!
