Let's Mix it up!

Ok now we all love a challenge!

well i thought i would try out the Kaisercraft "Mix it up" Challenge, so this month you need to add

- Stripes

- Frame

- Flower

- Two photos

And there has to be at least 60% Kaisercraft products

well i just couldn't do that! i must use MORE! lol!

so finding my Kaiser PP and haven an awesome time!

This is what i came up with

So you can see i have used the
Grandiose Collection which i just
love! cause of the patterns! and my fav Pennyroyal stamps, the Duchess alphas and the Kaisercraft Mini Alphas. I made a frame that is layered under my two photos and little flower for my title from the pp 
so the only things that aren't Kaiser is the dimioned stamp, cardstock and thread...lol

Inspriation is everywhere!

Good Morning Lovelies : D

No matter where you are or what you are doing inspiration is everywhere weather it's the colours of nature or the flash advertising or just the lines of the clothes line at a certain angle you can find the muse at work, latly i have been haven restless nights lying in bed hafe sleep and dreaming about the next colour combo or way i want to try on my next layout...lol the hard thing is not remember what it was in the morning..lol or what i have in my stash..lol well i have really been enjoying the sketches and challenges that are being set around the scrappen cyber world, to think a few years ago when i first picked up a scrapbooking Memoeries mag i felt so over whealmed and i wanted to do so much but didn't know where to start, let alone a year into scrappen and feeling very alone in my creative endour As i have not other scrappen friends, Yes My partner is a very gifted Artist and that is how i met him and feel in love was through art school, but scrap booking is just not really the same, not to sum blokes...lol i look back at my Art work in Tafe and realize now that i was always a scrapper, my most prized works were my mixed media paintings and my huge A2 sheets of Collage!    

I remember just sticking an A2 blank sheet of paper on my wall just next to my sterio and haven this beauitful glass serving dish i use to fill with random images i would find from mags and words lots of words! lol i just love doing this it was not for any Tafe assingement just for my pure pleasure...lol so this is where it fisrt happened my scrapping, without even a thought...lol

i do mist painting but with the boys painting is just a mission! you need to have a good couple of hours just to really get into it, but i'm planning to start up when they are a little bit older, as well as scluptor, oh how i miss playing with mesh and plaster! lol

so as i was saying Inspiration is everywhere!

October Sketch challenge

WOW WEE! what a full on month!!
filled with the rent inspection and my little family getting sick with a flu, as well as a few hassels with Justin work causing stress, i'm not sure where the time has flown...i did enjoy two Cyber crops and a frantic week of full on scrappen! i really don't know wht came over me but it just struck me like lightning and i was scappen two layouts a day?! but nothing i was overly thrilled with but still very nice to get a couple of the hundereds of photos scrapped...lol i was also very lucky (super lucky) to win a couple of prizes and just thrilled to bits as we are just flat broke at the moment, so HUGE THANKS to Deb's Creations  for my Awesome Stamp and Scrapbooking Outback for my Srap FX chipboard pack and Kaisercraft for my scrap pack, Totally Grateful to all these wonderfull poeple for my lovely scrapbooking supplie fix! my very own speacil treats to make me feel all warm and fuzz : D i totally heart you : D

I'm still working on my own example, just  slowed down after a blow with self, battling the issuse of guilt and the age old arguement of not being what i dreamed i'd be....lol still on the bright side, i look forward to enjoying the sunshine and listening to my kids laughing and playing togther, cause lets be honest that is all that really matter in this life, Family, love all coated with heart warming laughter : D

Three already?!

Hello everyone :D
I'm a very proud mummy as my little lockie has just turned three!! My oh my! how time flys when your haven fun...lol so yesterday was filled with lots of presents and love and laughter, Ash had kindy so Lockie had mum all too himself, we played shops and cooking - "lockie Chef"...lol he was very happy with his new toys where he could be just like dad and be a chef : D I also enjoyed making some Veg sausage rolls and some other hot treats as it was a really windy rainy day, but still you should have seen the cake that Justin made! WOW! last minute after worked he made what the the boys call a poppet, which is a sack boy from a game they play off the PS3 Little Big Planet, so justin was beaming when the boys started shouting excitedly "POPPET CAKE"! lockie than following up with "I LOVE IT"! aawww melt your heart : D

Oh what fun!! Lucky lockie was spoilt rotten by his Loveable Nan! He was given a Real Bike!! and to my utter amazement Ash also got one too! That was the most perfect gifts! what eles would two little Brother want....Bike too Race on! WOOHOO NAN! MAWH! as lockie said as he hoped onto his bike "Your the BEST NAN"! hit the nail on the head : D

My Daddy the Toast Master KING!!

He had a comp on this monday just gone, and he made an awesome speech and dressed up for it and all!

and He WON!! WWOOOHHHOOO!!

My Daddy is awesome! so great to hear that everyone eles knows it too!

 (it don't really suprise me :) cause he is!)

So Huge CONGRATES to My Dad!!

Who now has to go up to Bunbury to compete in round two! :D
