Getting close to the end...

Huge Hello Everyone!

Well it's alsmost the very end of the month and i'm sure a lot of you like me

are getting all those last scappen challenge in....

well this weekend was a little scrap crazy on my end!

not only have i got a few layouts done, but a card as well!...lol

Also going through my stash and making up some yummy  

kits for June Sale along with Buttons...oh loads of Buttons made on

Sunday Afternoon with the help of my 3yr old...lol he really loves getting crafty

and to see the look on his face to see what button we just made

i will totally treasure forever :)

and here i though i was the only one gettin excited about making buttons...lol

Aren't they totally Cute!...lol

still on with the show..... what have i  been creating...well besides a mess...lol

I got the Scrap the Boys layout finished!

With the theme "Collections"

i instantly thought of Ash's Slowly Growing collections of Lego that he just LOVES!

so into the lego i go!

Just love the look

of consintration on Ash's Face when he gets into creation mode with his lego..

totally magic!

I used some Cosmic Crieckt "Get HAppy" collection and some of my twine and one of those cute buttons!

Next i got into some Of Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch May #2   

getting into Nan's Favourites!

Then i have been getting busy with Scrap Therapy Challenges !

ONe was a colour challenge, i picked to work with the brown/yellow/black/white

 

I thought i would journal about before Justin and the kids....well

lets juswt say the only things i could think of that i missed were the sleep ins....

lol!

Using the October Afternoon Papers and some more twine...i think i'm getting addicted to this twine...lol

Also got a fuss cutting card challenge done too!

thats double amazing cause

1. i don't really do card very well

2. Fuss cutting is one of my pet hates in scrappen...lol

so thanks to the funky colours of Abby road by Prima i got inspired

Well thats about it for my creative run this weekend..

Get Picky Sketch challenge

Huge Hello Everyone!!

well it's Friday afternoon! bring on the weekend!

only a quick post today as i'm feelin a little frazzled by a full on day at TAFE,

but i only realized the the Get Picky sketch is due in tomorrow!

aaarrrhh!

seriously! where has this month gone??

i'm going to have to push back my june sale a week as i'm still waiting on dyes form

some of my flowers...

so i'll just be anouncing the winners of my Eye candy giveaway and sketch challenge!

i really enjoyed this sketch! i love the balance of the photo placement

using  My Minds Eye lime twist papers

and some of my crochet flowers and buttons i'll have for sale in June :)

really love splashing the paint around and getting messy :)

Where does the month go???

Huge Hello Everyone!

Well i wish i could say i got everything done i wanted to this week,

But i can't :(

I see to be running out time so quick i don't even realize that may is nill over!

seriously! how did that happen...lol

I still wondering if i could squeeze in my last mintue scrap before bed tonight

but i might miss the last couple of episodes of true Blood season 3! my partner

is just into waiting...lol

But i can say i have past my learner's theroy! YEAH! now i'm booking in for my first driving lesson

i feel a little shame that its taken me this long to gt the courage

to get in and do it, but now it's come to a point it's just effecting my career chances

so off to driving school!

I must admit i have pulled a couple of layouts challenge out of god only knows

what time...i'm thinking the were done on Sunday/monday

but i still have a Get Picky challenge sitting on my scrap table screaming "Finish Me!"

and i have finally gotten the perfect pic for Scrap the Boys challenge!

now to squeeze them in before the month ends!

i also want to do a few more challenge at scrap thearpy but i'm thinking thats going to be taken up with my last of my June Sale goodies!

OMG! seriously loven the fabric buttons i have made this month as well as the super cute Fimo!

also waiting on some of my own designed chippie, but i think that might turn up late June or July..

oh also getting into dying some cute little crochet hearts...yes thats right Mel!

Hope hope hope i get all these up on the blog on June the 1st!

seriously an array of colours and textures!

Also lining up a speacil someone to play with some eye candy for us :)

i'll be sure to pop a few photos up befoe the day to give you a looksy :)

So what challenge did i get done this week

well i had to give Handmade by Suzanne monthy sketch a go!

i found this a little hard to get into, i think i was haven a low mojo day

but i dived in my sassafrass papers and let them shine there lovely colours for me :)

As you can see  have used some more of Chantels yummy

I also wanted to get a Scrap jack challenge done, OMG!

seriously love this challenge blog!

if i had more time i would totally do more jacks!

but this month i jacked Mels layout!

i so love the design and the layers!

how lovely is mels layout! totally a heart melter!

i picked a couple of photos of my boys doing what they do best....being silly together :)

Next i was taken by the inspiration from Stuff to Scrap

totally amazing blog filled with a very talented DT! seriouly! i'm always

finding inspiration from this blog! totally amazing!

the theme for the challenge is "Mother" plus some chippie

now i thought of the lovley photo i had taken of my mum just recently...

with some October afternoons papers and some of chip chop shop pink trim and creative bits

doiles and my own fabric button and yellow glitter threads, as well as the word
mum is out of chippie letters :)

i came up with this colour fest!

how sweet are these bunny buttons!

totally heart melting!

as well as my journaling....lol it reads

There is something magical about the word "Mum",

to me I instantly feel warmth caring and a hint of a smile.ONly after becoming a mum

myself i could understand how and why one word could be so powerful.

This is one photo that i believe captures a small glimps of love i see in my mum,

with her crystal blue eyes and warm smile always

open for an embracing Hug. Through this woman i learned wrong from wright,

love and laughter is the best medican.

i love her :)

then i ran out of space!...lol i wrote the journaling around the page to become a boarder :)

i'm so happy with how bright and beautiful this layout turned out :)

and i had a good reason to use the pink! :)

Well with all this said and done, i better get a wriggle on and help with the dinner and the dishes

no play unless the work is done....unless you sneek off...lol

not always an option when the kids seem to beable to smell you out?!...lol

well chickie babes i hope your week has been fun filled and you all have a ripper of a 

weekend! oh i hoping to get done to the swap meet at Mum's Bees Knees!

Getting scrap happy!

Happy Weekend!

Hope your all enjoying yourseleves what ever you maybe doing :)

i was lucky to have my boys sit down and watch a disney movie

while i scrapped happy in the corner :)

they were being little angles to let me finally get a couple of layouts done :)

so what did i do??

well i just had to try out the Bobunny Sketch challenge!

yeah you know me can't say no to a sketch!...lol

Well i'm going to share some very exciting news ....

i'm in the midst of having my own designed chippie cut for me!

EEEE!! so exciting!

Lazy Sunday Scrappen

Huge Hello Everyone!

Well what a lovely day totday has been, i hope it has been the same for you! 

Now it's no secret that i love scrappen my heart out on Sandays, but today i was taking it slow

as my lecture would say i was 'Fluffling around" lol what

a fantastic description..lol

i so love fluffing around....lol

but i did finish my layout and enjoyed washing and clean with the help of lockie

what a sweet heart :)

Well todays challenge i got into was Kraft it Up

cahllenge - No Pattern Paper!

Now this is a bit of a challenge as i so love pp! and that is my main go to for colours and

pattern and like well everything!

so i really had to put my thinking cap on and

dived into my material/fabric scraps....

with some of my painted and stamped masking tape...dash of mist and more of my handmade

buttons and fimo! :)

 i'm seriously loven haven these crochet flowers on hand and all this string!

really gives my inspiration a boost!

Well tomorrow morning i'm just going to take the plunge and get my learners permit,

i can't let fear rule me...

and i have some Eye candy to post...so instead of sneaking past the ladies

i'm going to just do it!

and if i fail i'll do it again on Thursday!

so there! i've told myself whats going down so just suck it up princess!...lol

i really have to kick myself in the butt for letting it go on for how long it has....

i usally not a procrastinator, but when fear is involed, i avoid....

so here goes nothing..... :)

But tonight...well i'll be staying up late watching True Blood with my partner and thinking of

Kirsten getting up in the middle of the night to watch Vampire Daires on GO @ 11.30pm

You go girl! anything to get the fix!...lol

i'll be totally in  there spirit, at least doing the same thing :)
