One Creative Morning....

Well what a week!

with all the excitment of Deb's Creations 

Launch of the New Emerald Faires

Mia and Willy

and Isla...

I have had sometime to get my homework done from TAFE and

find sometime to have a go at a couple of challenges... YEAH!

Now i really happy to have had the creative bug the past weekend so i could also have a crack 

at the Fimo and flowers i have been wanting to make

 Well what do you think?? Good enough to start an Embellishment

Kit club???...lol

So i was totally amped up on Sunday to get into some serious scrappen

as i had all morning to "Go for it" as my partner put it...lol

thank hun :) 

so i wanted to have a Go at this months Sketch from Anna's Craft cupboard
Using the Cosmic Crieckt Garden Vairiety collection

So funny when your trying to photographe a bunch

of

little kids...what a mission to get them all looking in the same place..lol

these photos crack me up!

i so loved when My Big Brother and his totally LOVEABLE family came over

for christmas...LOVED ever moment!

and so did the Boys!

Now what awesome News that Scrap the Boys Are BACK!

WOOHOO!

so i had to jump in to this challenge!

being "Freeze a moment in time"

 i couldn't help thinking back to when Justin

asked me to Marry him...aaarrhhh

totally Bliss! ..lol well i think so :)

so here is my take on this challenge
using Cosmic Cricket Get Happy collection

One lastt one before the morning was through...

this one was more of based on a sketch and then carried away on it's own and looked

nothing like the sketch i started with...lol

but i love this photo and it was one of the most beautiful Birthday mornings

i have ever shared with our little family

total bliss!

Using that fantastic Seaside Collections from Kaisercraft

and adding some shells we found on the morning :) 

Almost forgot my Mum asked me to create two

card for Two Decans that are have their Ordination in the next few weeks

so i seeked out some doves of peace and played in photoshop

Mounted them on some Basic Grey papers



I have also got so super exciting news but i have to keep my lips totally sealed...

Hehehe, so sorry to be cheecky but i'm EXCITED!

well chickies i hope you have found some inspiration

or at least something pretty to look at, lol

Emerald Fairies - New Release!!!

Huge Hello Everyone!!!

Now i've got some exciting News to share!

the very Magical DEB'S CREATIONS

Now i'm sure you have gather i totally Heart Emerald Faires

cause they are so darn sweet! 

But to have two more to play with is so AWESOME!

I was lucky enough to have a go at creating a few layouts with these

very sweet Fairies :)

How sweet is she!! My face lite up when i saw her, she is

they just scream COLOUR ME!

Huge Hello Everyone!!!

OMG! has it been nilly two weeks since my last post!

well truely it feels longer to me!

i'm so sorry! i feel like i have missed out on so much!

all of your bloggs are bursting with inspiring layouts and other creations!

I have to admit i have been Missing In Action because

of lifes many stressors!

with Money troubles, balancing studies and home life

and the then breaker was a personal health issuse! AARRHH!

so i need sometime to have a Deep breath and reset!

so after the huge knot unraveled yesterday i feel

so much better! 

Fantastic news from the Doctor! Money sorted! and school work.... well

still chugging through nicley :)

so I want to say thank you for your emails and letting me know

you care :) cause truth be told I MISSED ALL of YOU TOO!!!

The BEST sketch!

Huge Hello Everyone!

i know twice in one day....must be my lucky non-TAFE day...lol

well to be honest i should be researching but what it's not like another cuppa

can't fix that...lol

i just had to share with you all this utterly fantastic sketch!

Now i was doing a little blog hopping a few days ago and

was checking out Scrap 2 stuff

which i was totally stoked to see they will cut your own designs...how cool!

got me desiging i'll tell you that...lol

but i was have a looksy to see the creative team

and the awesome Leeann Pearce is there

from Chip chop shop

and quiet a few other BIG names in the scrappen world!

but i wondered on to Chantelle Huizenga blog

cause 1. she has all boys and 2. she is a Busso girl too!

so i was not disappointed when i saw how talented she is and

she also runs an Esty store Creative Bits with the most delish dolies!OMG!

so indulging in here creative work i can across a sketch she had

designed for a comp she is running,

check out this sketch.....

How joy is this sketch! seriously this was a wicked boost of inspiration for me

and i hit the papers and loved every moment!

so here is my take on this awesome sketch!

i used a few different elements in this sketch,

1. i used a newspaper and contact method for the back paper...as shown here

in this blog post of Anna's craft boarder

2. got to use some of my own handmade fimo button and swirly hearts

3. got into paintin, cutting and sewing canvas circles!

wow! what  a lot of fun i had putting this layout together!

March Challenge @ Deb's Creations

Huge hello Everyone!

Well i've very excited to tell you about a challenge i'm holding over at

 Deb's creations

so whats the challenge ????

well i thought i would do a colour challlenge with a word to inspire....

the word is

SMILE

and the colours combo i would like you to work with is

  very Autum colours

Greys, Reds, Golden Oranges, Browns and of course White and black :)

now if thats got you wondering, i ve also done an example to get you really

creative

If you would like to give this challenge a go and get a chance to win 

please have a go with the colour combo and be inspired by "Smile"

and upload into Deb's Creations gallery before April 1st 2011

Getting Sketched with Kaisercraft

Huge Hello Everyone!

well it has been a nother fun filled week at TAFE!

starting to feel the routine settle...even it leave little time to

scrap, arh well i did get a couple late nights in...lol!

well i've got to say the boys are going well even thought the heat over here is starting to

get to me more than anyone...i just do heat very well..lol

sweat and ice cold drinks and becoming more in love with my purple sarong...lol

not that i could be out in public with it on but i do hide in a

dark corner of the house with it ...lol

so with the time issuse and heat scrappen has been moved to

"Wheni get cool enough to move"pile..lol

have you tried scrappen while sweating??

not very good for your papers...lol

but things do start sticking to you and not your layout..lol

Well i have worked on some seriously secrect Squirl Layouts for my DT work

at Deb's Creations as i did mention in a few posts ago that Deb's is going to

release a few more Emerald Faries...but you just have to wait and see!...hehehe

But i have got a couple of Kaisercraft sketches done..WOOHOO!

first is the Febuary Saturday Sketch #3

i used Jungle Bug as the colours suited the photos so well!

i think it's the combo of the bib and that mashed Pumpkin :)

aww..i remeber the fun of given your buba mushie delights :)

then i gave Feburay Saturday Sketch #4 

a go with the yummy Peachy Keen collection :)

  This is Ash again, but a lot older and what seems to be Deep in thought...lol!

really makes you wonder what they are so deep in thought over...

Well i've got to tip my hat to kaisercraft, even in the heat and time lacking

i will find the way to get to play with their collections and give their sketches a go!

i wish i had more to show or something more to say but i'm feeling a little

mifted...maybe just tired....i think i'll grab a fresh iced cold water

and lap up some Brothers and Sisters for 40mins :)
