OMG! a month already?!

Huge Hello Everyone!!

 

 

Wow! i can't believe it has almost been a whole month

since my last blog post!

 

OMG!

time just fly's!

 

Well loads has been going on and sadly not scrappen

a little dash here and there with the Lovely Sassy Scrapper Ladies

 

I created this lovely canvas inspired my all time fave mix media artist

featuring the yumo Echo Park collection Happy together :}

 

 

 

 

 

 

As well as this sweet layout of my Sister and me :}

 

 

 

 

Loads of delish Kaiser blooms and crochet flowers, even a few prima!

 

 

I only got to finish scrappen this layout of Ash and myself last week,

 

 

 

with the inspirations of the Sassy Scrappers August Sketch challenge!

I just LOVE these Echo Park papers, Happy Together is  perfect name for this collection, the colours are so bright they can't help but make you smile :}

 

 

Now I'm not sure if you have noticed but i have finished up 

my DT works, as i was finding that my work and family commitments

got to the point of me realizing I'm only human {go figure} lol

 

So i had to {sadly} bow out and leave the inspiring to the AMAZING

ladies whom bring it all!

Playing with A Piece of Cake Designs

What have i been up to??

Well i have been lucky enough to jump into my July Kit from

A Piece of Cake Designs... 

This has been a yummy treat to work with! from the yummy coloured pattern papers to the sweet little embellishments that Raquel has matched up wonderfully!

I created this layout ....

"Sharing a Little Cake Moment" 

Sharing my LOVE for baking in this layout, I have always LOVED baking! since my earlier days when my parents owned and ran a little Deli making and selling Pies....the Famous Kirup Deli Homemade Pies!!....that was a while back now 1986-2002 and the shop is now a backpackers...so i have heard....But i spent the first 16yrs of my life living and breathing baking and running a business....

 AnyHoo.....

Back to the here and now :}

With some of the scraps from my kit i thought i whip up a card :}

Now i really didn't know what i was going to do with these felt flowers but i thought they would make perfect eye for Hooty!!

She is a little different, but i think she is a sweet little birthday owl! :}

Hope i have inspired you to have a whirl at a homey layout or even an owl card :}

Scraps with Sassy Scrapper

Huge Hello Everyone!!

Its that wonderful time to share with you

I have been able to clean my scrappen space!

So with a warm sun light morning i brewed a coffee and set to work cleaning up my desk :}

A few moments later after i had found my desk top under the scraps i got

from the Bobunny Collections Alora...


 



along with some yummy AC Thickers and JilliBean Alphas!
     


So i thought why not start a few cards?!

So i came up with these two from my scraps....

Have you been shopping for cards??

they are pretty expensive! some where between $10-$18!!

Now are you thinking what I'm thinking??

That is money i could be spending on my scrappen stash!....lol

So why not make a thing of using your scraps up on making cards!

I know it's a great way to use up your scraps and always having cards on hand :}
