The BEST sketch!

Huge Hello Everyone!

i know twice in one day....must be my lucky non-TAFE day...lol

well to be honest i should be researching but what it's not like another cuppa

can't fix that...lol

i just had to share with you all this utterly fantastic sketch!

Now i was doing a little blog hopping a few days ago and

was checking out Scrap 2 stuff

which i was totally stoked to see they will cut your own designs...how cool!

got me desiging i'll tell you that...lol

but i was have a looksy to see the creative team

and the awesome Leeann Pearce is there

from Chip chop shop

and quiet a few other BIG names in the scrappen world!

but i wondered on to Chantelle Huizenga blog

cause 1. she has all boys and 2. she is a Busso girl too!

so i was not disappointed when i saw how talented she is and

she also runs an Esty store Creative Bits with the most delish dolies!OMG!

so indulging in here creative work i can across a sketch she had

designed for a comp she is running,

How joy is this sketch! seriously this was a wicked boost of inspiration for me

and i hit the papers and loved every moment!

so here is my take on this awesome sketch!

i used a few different elements in this sketch,

1. i used a newspaper and contact method for the back paper...as shown here

in this blog post of Anna's craft boarder

2. got to use some of my own handmade fimo button and swirly hearts

3. got into paintin, cutting and sewing canvas circles!

wow! what  a lot of fun i had putting this layout together!

March Challenge @ Deb's Creations

Huge hello Everyone!

Well i've very excited to tell you about a challenge i'm holding over at

 Deb's creations

so whats the challenge ????

well i thought i would do a colour challlenge with a word to inspire....

the word is

SMILE

and the colours combo i would like you to work with is

  very Autum colours

Greys, Reds, Golden Oranges, Browns and of course White and black :)

now if thats got you wondering, i ve also done an example to get you really

creative

If you would like to give this challenge a go and get a chance to win 

please have a go with the colour combo and be inspired by "Smile"

Getting Sketched with Kaisercraft

Huge Hello Everyone!

well it has been a nother fun filled week at TAFE!

starting to feel the routine settle...even it leave little time to

scrap, arh well i did get a couple late nights in...lol!

well i've got to say the boys are going well even thought the heat over here is starting to

get to me more than anyone...i just do heat very well..lol

sweat and ice cold drinks and becoming more in love with my purple sarong...lol

not that i could be out in public with it on but i do hide in a

dark corner of the house with it ...lol

so with the time issuse and heat scrappen has been moved to

"Wheni get cool enough to move"pile..lol

have you tried scrappen while sweating??

not very good for your papers...lol

but things do start sticking to you and not your layout..lol

Well i have worked on some seriously secrect Squirl Layouts for my DT work

at Deb's Creations as i did mention in a few posts ago that Deb's is going to

release a few more Emerald Faries...but you just have to wait and see!...hehehe

But i have got a couple of Kaisercraft sketches done..WOOHOO!

first is the Febuary Saturday Sketch #3

i used Jungle Bug as the colours suited the photos so well!

i think it's the combo of the bib and that mashed Pumpkin :)

aww..i remeber the fun of given your buba mushie delights :)

then i gave Feburay Saturday Sketch #4 

a go with the yummy Peachy Keen collection :)

  This is Ash again, but a lot older and what seems to be Deep in thought...lol!

really makes you wonder what they are so deep in thought over...

Well i've got to tip my hat to kaisercraft, even in the heat and time lacking

i will find the way to get to play with their collections and give their sketches a go!

i wish i had more to show or something more to say but i'm feeling a little

mifted...maybe just tired....i think i'll grab a fresh iced cold water

and lap up some Brothers and Sisters for 40mins :)

Huge hello Everyone!!

OMG! how i have missed bloggin and Creating during the week!

And it been a HUGE week!

well i'll started with My first day at TAFE

On Tuesday...nervous and almost eating my insides ...

I was happy to find out i have the same Lecturer Mrs Sarah Lotze for all my

Units *Phew* And She is Super Nice and so easy to listen and talk too

i have to be honest i totally LOVE it! all my classes even the Maths is really great!

fun on Firday which is a full day of TAFE i was just so glad to leave Mr Lockie Whingy Bum

to his dad and go off for the day and talk to Adults!...lol I do admit at the end of the day i was ready

for a full on cuddle and play session :)

so TAFE is awesome! even if i found i was struggling to find the energy to sit and play with my 

stash...arh well nothing a bit of time manage..coffee and a lock on the study door 

wont fix...lol

I also got my first ever Email from SBM for "we Maybe Publishing you layout"

so super super excited about it!!

so cross my fingers and hold my breath i'll get the confirmation email :)

Now i got creative on Thurday and finally got my Flower swap and ATC 

swap done for Deb's Creations *phew* 

So i haven't taken any photos of the flowers DHO!

but i did of the ATC

How sweet are these are these faries!

Now i've got to admit i didn't use any speacil Copics for the colouring

I used my Kids Pip Sqeaks marker *Blush* Thanks Aunty Janelle! They are

awesome!...lol seriously where there is a will there is a scrapper!

Yu can only get these Emerald Faries at Deb's creation

Which were Designed by the very Talented Linda CatchLove

She is incredible Lovely and here art is to die for!

I also by the good grace of coffee got a layout done on Friday night

i just had to take on the Get picky Sketch for Feb

As you can see i really seems to love Bella Blvd when i'm doing a Picky sketch...lol

But i really really loved this sketch, will be a keeper!

Also been getting creative with Fimo! Yes that right Fimo!

so i have create a bunch of cute little birds and mushrooms on pins

and some lollie pop buttons and swirly heart :)

all to add a little extra to my layout or cards or even OTP

What do you think? should i open my own little shop on Etsy???

thinking about it just to make a little money to fuel my Stash :)

Now onto more serious matters...My Boy Ash turned 5 yesterday!

How dare they grow up so quick! ...lol

He was totally stoked to see he got the Lego movie he has been wanting

Sad most of my photos were so blurred from how fast Ash was unwrapping his presents...lol

but this photo kinda says it all..lol

well as you can imagin we had a lovley day first off too the beach

then stop in for a mini Party at Nannies :D

oh you should have seen the food! like a kid had die and gone to heaven!

Not to mentions the Ultra cool pressie!

then the afternoon was filled with Aunty B* and cousin Adien

Uncle Dan and Nan Jean with more lego!

a very lego birthday!

i'm going to have to make myself a draw string playmat

for all this lego!

Than was the Cake!

oh not only was it looking like a Ninja Turtle (So cool)

But it was the most delish Choc Browie cake (Gluten free)

i have ever ever had! My man really out did himself on this one..

i've even put in my order for my Birthday...lol

i would have wet my pants for a cake like this when i was 7..

i so love Ninja Turtles! been so cool watching all the old cartoon

show i watched as a kid...sing the intro song...lol

Ash even thought the Cake was really yum :D

I took so many photo yesterday! when i went to upload them to my computer

it was near on 500! lol!

i am always torn between taking photos or a vidio of the blowing out of the candles

but i have now desided that when they're up for thier 21st

i'll do a montage of the vidios of singing happy birthday all through

their birthdays and play it for them on the actual singing of their

21st birhtday :D or i'll just do it for myself..lol

Well now it's Sunday and you all know i LOVE Sunday!

Imaginisce Blog challenge

Huge hello everyone!

Well i've got to say a huge HAPPY LOVE DAY!!!

sending you all loads of Loves and Cuddles!

hope your day is filled with heaps of love on this day and all the rest of the year :D

Today is the day before my TAFE course starts ao i am a little

tied up inside...wondering why i even open up my mouth...lol

still i'm sure after a couple of weeks i'll be stoked

i'm just a little worried about change...

I already miss the SAMH life style and i haven't even venture out yet...lol

well to get my mind of this i thought i would squeeze in a challenge

I popped over to Imaginisce Blog to see what they all have been cooking up

Well! i was blow away with the newest collections thay are bringin out!

and the challenge for Feb is a bit of a tuffy for me

it is an inspired challenge from this photo and using the colour combo

Instantly i thought Sweet! and Birthday! 

But these colours were all wrong for my stash!

seriously haven problems finding papers that fitted 

this theme and colours from my Imaginisce stash!

so digging deep i found some scraps from the "Wild Things" collection

nowi was streching it ...lol

what am i going to do with scraps???

well i suxed it up and thought outside the box and came up with a card and a gift box for a

birthday...

  Now thats what i call using your scraps!...lol

Now all ive got to say is i'm going to pop some Imaginisce papers on

my wish list! :D

Well thats all for now i'm going to go and find out what chef's going to cook

for dinner and bring in the washing...and maybe spray the kids with the hose just for some fun :D

Saturday sketch on Sunday

Huge Hello Everyone :D

Well i'm sure you have already caught on i totally me Sunday's!

so today has been a totally homebound day!

WOOHOO! 

I am really understanding now why mums have at least one day of

complete home, every other day your running around

getting kids ready for school and shopping and cleaning!...oh such is life!

Not at all conplaining! seriously Love my life i just have the

same little streak of laziness i had as a kid,

just want to bum around home doing nothing much eles than what a want..

well almost..lol we'll be realistic with kids you get to do some

of what you want...which is awesome! :D

I finished my Awaked House of Nights book....so now i'm on the prowl for

a good read...again...well not that it will be hard...but i always

miss my friends i have in each book i finish...Sniff sniff...lol

So today scrappen wise i've been lazy also...lol

i've only done one layout but still better than nothing..lol

i attacked the Saturday Sketch Challenge Febuary #2 from Kaisercraft yesterday..

This week’s sketch is based on the layout by Al Hannah’s layout “Life itself is…” – from Kaisercraft’s February Workshop Magazine.

Here is my take on this sketch challenge

I must admit when i printed these photos i was 

really scratching my head over what papers i was going to use..

considering my kaisercraft stash is well limited...

trying to match up the red, blues...was thrill seeker and i wanted more playful feel

lucky i had a couple papers i bought for myself for christmas..

thanks to my Lovely Big Brother and his darling Hun Janelle! they

gave me a $50 voucher! seriously! best Present all christmas....well

don't tell anyone eles in my family but my voucher and Tripod are just the top of the list!

anywhoo! i was suprised how well these Beach collections addapted as a 

playful homey layout, even the top of the Beach shacks make awesome arrows!

Well now i'm on the count down ..two more sleeps and i go to school!

very excited and very nervious..but i'm sure i'll be ok...lol

Now just to sit down and some Fariy ATC and flowers for a swap at Deb's Creations :D

I'm thinking i use the delish Emerald Faires that are exclusive to Deb's Creations

            Also got to pop over to Colour room and see the new pallet

totally missed the last weeks...ooppssyy!
