One day till christmas!!

Huge hello to everyone!

let me just say how much i wish all of you a

very merry christmas and a totally wonderfilled New year for 2011!



So i'm sure all of your are like me and stealing only a few moments away

for yourself...as the turkey is cooking or the kids are running rampdid in the house shouting "Santa's coming! Santa's coming!" i just love this time of year, but this year is just so much more speacial as i have the totaly honour and pleasure to spend it with my Brother and his totaly adorable family!

i have been absent from thge computer and the forum, my scrap room has noot even been looked at till today, cause i have been enjoying every moment watching the kids play together, having cuddles with Bubba Zander and Maddison and enjoying chatting ang laughing with geoffery and Janel :D

oh how i totaly heart this family!!!

so totmorrow is the big day and tonight is totally magical!!

i hope your all prepared for a late night of fun filled magic and your ready for the fun and laughter of tomorrow :D

just to show that last week i was trying very hard to squeeze some scrappen in before the end of the very busy month i got three layouts done :D

I was scrappen with yummo sassafrassand these are photo of Lockie bub on a very hot Summer day

so cute! got to love the blue eyes!..lol

last i got the Get Picky layout done....very nill didn't happen!...but where there is a will

there is a scrapper!...lol

You can totally see why i had to do this sketch!! totally fantastic!!

i used the totally awesome Bella Blvd papers hello beautiful!these photo were only taking a few days ago too of me and Lockie the new found spider man!..lol

oh well better get back to the cooking and i've got to mop before tonight!

got to get the boys ready for their very first Christmas eve Mass! i know! totally

unreal!!

Huge hello everyone!!

I'm sure your all like me at the moment,

running around tryingf to get organized for chrissy (that is only a week away!!)

Finding that your scrappen time has been cut down and the challenges are piling up

and all you can do is dream of what you'll do with that sketch

and hoping you wont fall asleep again in front of TV...lol

well thats me..lol

still you got to love chrsitmas!

i had to make a huge Cleaning and weeding list to bring the house up to scratch before the

the big day....only four more days and i get to see my Big brother!!!

and Jenal and my Neice MAddison and bubba Zander!!!

WOOHOO! i'm so very excited!!!

between that i've got to get some scappy pressies done...lol

a few last nights this weekend and a LOT of coffee!!!

lol!
well today i want to share what Ash and I made for his Kindy teachers : D

we made chrissy cookies! and some super cute tags! too!

even more super cute with Ash's own handwriting! :D

How cute are these!! and so super easy to make

Christams Tree cookies

2 cups of plain flour

1/2 cup icing sugar

200grams of butter

put that all in to a vitamizer/ blender

zap in short bursts till looks like breadcrumbs

then add 2Tablespoons of cold water

zap again till forms clumps and

then break out the baking papers and roll between sheets

cookies cutter and away you go!

bake in oven @ 180c for 15mins

or until golden brown

to icing mix is just 2cups of icing sugar and boiling water

dip cookies and let the acess drip off

then sprinkle!...i love sprinkles!!

For the Tags i used the Echo park Everybody loves chrsitams collections,

totally happy colour combo!

I was you the Cambridge collections from bo bunny and a love making my own background with the

Tim holtz masks, a load of stiching and glimmer mists : D

So off to the clen and weed and cross my fingers i'll get my Chrissy scrappen done tonight!

come on caffine don't fall me now...lol

Finally a little creative peace!

i'm sure you'll all argee there is nothing like a slice of

Creative peace to sooth one soul...which i finally got!

after a week of getting organized and sick children i have gotton

my swaps done and a layout!! WOOHOO!

so to show you my swaps i created for Amanda's Swap blog

Now i really thought i may have biten off more than i could chew 

as i signed up for all 5 swaps

but funny enough i loved ever moment making these! so i can't wait to do it all again next month!

As you can see i really got into the Grinch this christmas!...lol

this is the first year i have started reading "How the Grinch stole Christmas" 

Which the Boys just LOVE and so do I!

Beacause it really shows how christmas means a little bit more! : D

 (I love doing the Grinchy voice too) lol

I'm seriously one of Dr Suess Biggest Fans!   

Well after all the fun of making the ATC's amd the candy canes...which i felt like a real little elf

painting each little red stripe on them...lol i even got into the christmas songs...

one of my favs is Rudof the red nose reindeer and Santa's coming to town : D

well i finally got a layout done too!

i came up with this layout : D

I used the little robots collection, which i totally love!

Also used the Yellow clogs from a yellow swap at Deb's creations

from the lovely Mazz {HUGS} Thanks chickie they were totally perfect for this layout!

SO in the end where there is a will they is a scrapper...lol

you know what i mean ;P

well i've got a sleepy toddler on my lap wanting Cat in the hat read...lol

Basic Grey Challenge

Hello Everyone : D

i think i may just have to invest  in some real time management

it seems i still have a time shortage

or maybe it has something to do with these

books i'm reading...lol

still i can't blame Stefan or Elane for my time management issues..lol

So for a quick creative fix i hopped onto this 

Basic Grey Challenge blog for a 

recipe challenge : D

3 x different pattern paper (basic grey of course - Urban Praie)

4x different embellishments (pearls, ribbon, buckle and flower)

2 x images and/or sentiments (Kiki with cupcake and Happy birhtday) 

  so if you love Basic Grey pop by and give the challenges a go!

great for a burst of inspiration too!

Seem to be running out of time?!

Huge Hello Everyone!!

I am amazed at how time flys when you as too

busy!! with Chrissy just around the corner, school coming to an end

i seem to be running out of time to do things?! 

I really have been sitting down at the end of the day,

totally drainned and saying to myself...

"i really wanted to scrap today" 

oh well sleep is more needed! as well at the pestering Tooth ache!! 

Wisdom teeth pushing through and given me grief!

well i can't believe i only got one layout done in two weeks!!!!

that is just so unreal! i feel December is going to be filled with more

baking and cooking and cleaning , than scrappen or blogging!....AAARRHH!

oh well i'm sure i'll have lots of stuff to share after chrisssy and heaps of photos!!

so for the one layout i did get done, was for a challenge from Bo bunny 

to scrap a layout on "One thing i love about myself"

so i really love my imagination :D

always keeps me sane...in this reality one or other..lol

so i splashed out with the Bo bunny "sun kissed" papers and soaked up the brights : D

Oh how i wish i could freezer time so i could get more done, or just slow it down a little, that could help

with the kids growing up to quick too!..lol

Well i really hope your all getting chrissy stuff done before it get tooo crazy

i'll share with you all my chrissy tree cookies i'm baking for presents and for Ash's Kindy class

they are so easy to make , look fantastic and are YUMMY!!

well since it is the firsat of December it's time to put up the chrissy tree in our house : D

so i hope to get some cute photos of the boys doing that : D

Oh what a strange weekend!!

i really have been battling the scrappers block and

My mood is swinging so i think it thats time again to focus on the kids and

get loads of cuddle...lol natures mediecin

So i di manage to get this sketch done from Get picky Blog challenge

I'm not as happy as i would like to be with this layout,

I think my scrappers block really shows in my work..lol

Oh well give it a couple of days and i'll be in the swing of things again..

BoBunny Everywhere!!

Huge hello Everyone : D

Hope your all enjoying a fun filled weekend  : D

Now i'm feeling the heat as it is warming up in Busselton the past two days have been a real Summer slap

in the face! i for got how much i hate the heat!! lol i really can't concentrate

and just to bothered and find all i want to do is lay down on the bathroom

tiles...lol so my scrappen has been put aside and i'm feeling a little empty.....werid?!

Anyway i pushed myself the other day when Ash was at Kindy to complete they Bobunny Challenges

So you know me i can't go past a great sketch chalklenge, i just love this Sketch that Bobunny 

had up for the Friday sketch challenge : D

 How can't you give it a go?!

so i dived into my Bobunny papers and came up with

the Might Muffin Boy layout using Bobunny collection Calypso Dream

I tried a new techiniqe for myself, the pleaded boarder around the circle...i was suprised how easy it was

and i really love the effect, i'm thinking i my do it with a braket or something....hhmmm

Anyway the next Bobunny challenge was little more difficult cause the papers i wanted to use i had

bugger all! I wanted to use the Bobunny Peacock Lane collections cause my fav colours are green and purple! so the challenge was to so a layout about yourself....so my style to this challenge is how i love the Bush, i have never scrapped about how i miss this part of my life, now that i live beside the sea and very rarly get to go bush...only when treasure hunting with the kids, so i wanted to capture how i feel when i'm in the bush...the magic, the way i find peace and my myself in the sweet nature.....aaarrrhhh

so with a lot of "Wish i had more of this paper!" i came up with this layout

"A Small peace of Me belongs Here"

 So now i'm back home after a lovely day at my parents and the beach early this moring, i think i can steal away and get into a few challenges set by Scrap threapy!

Cause they are holding their last Cyber CRop for the Year so pop over if  you need the inspiration like myself..lol

Even though i need more time..lol which they give you too! the Due date for the challenges are the

26th of Nov so thats a cool week! sweet! i've got to get at least a couple done*cross my finger*
